Hans started his career as an intern at Prudential Financial in Boston, MA. After his first year, he was credited with the "Rookie of the Year" award for all of Prudential US. He leveraged his financial services experience into a technology startup in Baltimore that went "public" and subsequently was the national director of training and sales for a venture-backed fin-tech startup in Chicago. This firm specialized in non-qualified deferred compensation plans where he trained over 2,500 financial advisors nationwide and provided subject matter expertise to their clients. Hans then joined Metlife to provide executive life product wholesaling and sales for the Western US region. After six years at Metlife, he was recruited by Mercer (Marsh McLennan/MMC) to provide executive benefit plan consulting, design, and brokerage to clients in the 13 state western region for ten years.
Hans completed his studies at Northeastern University, Boston MA with a double major in economics and business management.
