A Week to Remember: The Cerity Partners Hall of Fame Open

Articles & Interviews | Aug 20, 2026

From July 5 to 12, 2026, the historic grass courts of the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, came alive with world-class competition under the Cerity Partners brand.

Our partnership with the International Tennis Hall of Fame

“This year marked a meaningful first for our firm—our entry into sports as title sponsor of the Hall of Fame Open, in partnership with the International Tennis Hall of Fame,” says Kurt Miscinski, Chief Executive Officer of Cerity Partners. “The discipline, long-term focus, and commitment to excellence we bring to our clients every day are the very things that define tennis at its best. We have deep admiration for the hard work and passion it takes to compete at this level, and it was a privilege to help celebrate these athletes.”

That shared standard is exactly why this partnership resonated so deeply. The Hall of Fame Open honors history while showcasing a new generation pursuing excellence, celebrating both the rising stars competing on the court and the legends who crafted an enduring legacy. It was a natural fit for Cerity Partners.

A week of world-class tennis

Over the course of the week, 100 athletes competed across ATP Challenger and WTA 125 draws, bringing top-level tennis to one of the most distinctive stops in the professional game. Thousands of fans came out to the historic grounds of the International Tennis Hall of Fame to take it all in—exploring the museum, snapping pictures in the Cerity Partners photo booth, enjoying interactive fan games and activations, and soaking up the unique atmosphere that makes Newport unlike any other venue in tennis.

We were also excited to host our network in the Cerity Partners courtside boxes all week long.

Supporting equal prize money for women

What made this week special extended well beyond the results on the scoreboard. Throughout the tournament, we were proud to partner with the International Tennis Hall of Fame on a series of themed days that reflected values we share.

On Women in Sports Day, we celebrated the athletes, leaders, and stories shaping the future of women’s tennis. We were especially proud to have made equal prize money possible across the men’s and women’s draws—a shared commitment to parity. Despite record growth in women’s sports, a significant gender pay gap remains, which makes it all the more important to make thoughtful decisions with every dollar earned.

Congratulations to the champions

To every athlete who competed, congratulations. What played out on court was the visible part of a much longer story: years of preparation, the team helping you succeed, the discipline to perform when it matters most, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. We were thrilled to crown four sets of champions this year:

  • Women’s singles: Tatjana Maria
  • Men’s singles: Jacob Fearnley
  • Women’s doubles: Iryna Shymanovich and Katie Volynets
  • Men’s doubles: Finn Reynolds and James Watt

Thank you, Newport

To the players, the fans, and everyone who came out to the historic grounds of the International Tennis Hall of Fame—thank you. We’re grateful to the Newport community for making this year’s tournament one to remember, and to the entire Hall of Fame team for creating a world-class experience for our guests and fans alike. We can’t wait to return in 2027.
