Michael Barry

Michael is a Partner and member of the firm’s Operating Committee based in New York City. He is responsible for driving the firm’s Workplace Solutions growth strategy, corporate sales, and execution. He has over 20 years of experience in wealth management and employee financial benefits.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Michael was Managing Director and Head of Workplace Wealth Solutions within the Global Wealth Management business at UBS, serving approximately 10,000 corporate relationships and 2 million global participants in the areas of equity compensation, retirement and financial well-being programs. Before UBS, Michael led the fixed income securities and active trader platforms within Fidelity Investments retail brokerage business. Earlier in his career, he served as a staff attorney at the AYCO (now, Goldman Sachs) and held leadership positions within Citigroup’s corporate client businesses in the US and internationally.

Michael is also a strategic advisor to financial technology companies, Candidly and Wealthlane.
