Robert Jeffers
Partner & Chief Operating Officer
Biography
Robert is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Cerity Partners, based in Boston. As a member of the firm’s Leadership Team, he oversees operations, technology, compliance, facilities, and billing, leading the systems, processes, and controls that allow the firm to deliver exceptional client service while scaling with discipline.
Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Robert spent more than 20 years in senior leadership roles in financial services, including as Chief Operating Officer of a private wealth management firm and as a Managing Director at two global financial institutions, where he focused on wealth management and global human resources operations.
Robert has served as President of the Board of Directors of two nonprofits that connect volunteers with community organizations in need.
Outside the office, Robert is an avid ultra runner, having completed several 50Ks, 50-milers, and a 100-miler. When not on the trails, he enjoys his extensive vinyl record collection.

- MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania
- BA with Honors in Political Economics from University of California, Berkeley
