Anthony Smith

Anthony is the Chief Human Capital Officer and Partner at the Chicago office. He is a part of the firm’s Leadership team where he oversees the firms Human Resource function.

Anthony is an accomplished multi-lingual Human Resource executive, with 10 years of HR leadership experience in both Fortune 100 and high-growth companies. Anthony is an international executive, where he has taken on assignments across Switzerland and Spain and lead the HR Strategy and Operations across 120 countries. Anthony previously served as the Chief HR Officer with Accertify, formerly an American Express company, where he was responsible for supporting the carve out of the organization and standing up an international HR function. Prior to Accertify, Anthony served as the CHRO and COO for Atlas Inc, an industry leading Employer of Record services organization operating across 120 countries. From 2010 – 2020, Anthony was the Global Head of Talent at Firmenich, the largest privately owned Flavor & Fragrance Company, where he led Firmenich’s global talent strategy across 32 countries and 15,000 colleagues. Earlier in his career, Anthony was part of the Merrill Lynch retirement practice serving as an Associate Director and spent nearly 5 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers within their international mobility practice.

Anthony is a husband of over 17 years and a father to three amazing children. He remains active in the local business community out of both Spain and Chicago and finds his spare time engaged in nearly anything sports!
