Biography

Matthew is a Senior Principal in the Los Angeles office of Cerity Partners Ventures. He leads venture capital investments and market insights generation in the energy, IoT, and critical infrastructure sectors. Matthew has significant experience working with corporate partners to design and execute on strategic investment mandates and create market intelligence to inform business operations.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Matthew was a Principal at Touchdown Ventures engaging with corporate partners in the critical infrastructure and energy ecosystems. He worked with Core Innovation Capital, a FinTech VC fund based in Los Angeles, focused on understanding the economic needs of middle-class Americans and investing in solutions to bolster their financial security. Matthew also worked as an intern at Harness Wealth, an early-stage WealthTech start-up focused on democratizing access to high-quality financial advice.

  • MBA from Harvard Business School
  • MPP from Harvard Kennedy School of Government
  • BSE in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University
