Biography

Rajat is a Senior Associate on the Cerity Partners Ventures team, based in Philadelphia. He focuses on investments across all stages within the food and agriculture sector.  

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Rajat was an Analyst with Touchdown Ventures, a pioneer of the “venture capital as a service” model (merged with Cerity Partners.) He began his career at Silicon Valley Bank, specializing in venture debt lending for early-stage enterprise software startups.

In his free time, Rajat enjoys traveling with his family, playing and watching basketball, and reading historical literature.

  • B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Tulane University

Highlights

  • Led fundraising efforts for Satya Nutrition, a startup nonprofit focused on the development and delivery of ready-to-use therapeutic foods to malnourished children in the South Asian subcontinent.
