Biography

Will is a Partner at Cerity Partners Ventures, working out of the Los Angeles office. He leads the firm’s industrial manufacturing sector practice, focusing on investments in climate & sustainability, industrial technology, retail & supply chain, and materials science.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Will was a Managing Director at Touchdown Ventures, a pioneer of the “venture capital as a service” model (merged with Cerity Partners). Before that, Will worked in the growth private equity group at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, where he invested in lower-middle-market B2B software companies. He began his venture capital career working for the Gideon Hixon Fund, the venture investment arm of the Hixon family office.

Education

  • MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management (Carter Fellow and Venture Fellow)
  • BA in Environmental Science and Business Administration from the University of Southern California
