AJ Tomas

AJ is a Principal on the Cerity Partners Ventures team in Chicago. He is dedicated to investing and authoring market insights in the technology and telecommunications sectors. He focuses on partnering with companies across consumer, AI-native applications and infrastructure, enterprise SaaS, and fintech.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, AJ was an Associate at Touchdown Ventures, a pioneer of the “venture capital as a service” model. In this role, he sourced and executed several multi-stage venture capital investments. He also launched a corporate venture capital fund in partnership with a leading U.S. telecommunications carrier. AJ began his career as an Analyst at J.P Morgan where he advised on billions of dollars in capital raising and strategic advisory transactions.
