Client and Corporate Services
Jen is a Principal and Salesforce Administrator for Cerity Partners’ Client and Corporate Services team, based remotely in Madison, WI. Jen has over 6 years of Salesforce Administration experience for insurance, software and investment companies as well as over 16 years of financial services experience.
Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Jen worked for a Salesforce consulting partner, and two national insurance companies, performing Salesforce administration, consultation, solution architecture and end-user training. She executed multiple projects increasing productivity for Sales, Operations and Marketing using the Salesforce platform. Jen is passionate about giving back to the Salesforce community.
What inspired you to pursue your career in financial management?
My career has a strong Insurance and Accounting foundation which translated well into the financial management industry. Helping people was always the center of focus, whether it was helping an insurance advisor provide the peace of mind for a family or implementing technology solutions to help colleagues crush their daily activities.
Was there a specific incident in your life that made it clear you were made for this career?
If you would have asked me if I wanted a career as a Salesforce professional years and years ago, I would have asked what’s a CRM and then probably laughed. My turning point was when I automated my job and direct responsibilities by 75% using the Salesforce platform. I realized that I could help other people gain similar efficiencies in their day-to-day and allowing them focus on more high value tasks, like servicing clients. As I gained more technical skills, I became passionate about sharing my knowledge with others to help them in their career and got more involved leading community events.
Why is your work important, especially today?
With today’s fast pace and hybrid work environment, technology has taken the center stage to get work done. Leveraging tools that help teams communicate and pass processes seamlessly from team to team has increased significantly.
What should your clients know the most about you?
As part of the Cerity Partners Technology Team, I have a passion to solve tough business problems with the platforms used by the company. The solutions designed by myself and the extended team aid our ability to provide superior service to clients.

What do you do in your personal life that helps you help your clients?
Continued education is an essential part of the technology world. Cerity Partners recognizes and supports this not only for our Shared Services Team but across the firm.
How would you describe your best day doing what you do?
When I see an aha moment from helping one of my colleagues or hear that they are having fun with system processes my team delivered. Helping my team overcome blockers, having a breakthrough with a problem or sharing knowledge always makes for a good day.
What does the world need now more than anything?
Equity and aggressive climate change actions sit high on my list of what the world needs now.
