Biography

Scott is a Senior Associate working remotely from the Pacific Northwest. As a software developer with the Shared Services Operations department, he collaborates with the Technology Team in creating the software that underpins the firm’s daily data operations.

Scott started his career in the technical side of librarianship, specializing in bibliographic metadata and cataloging. After receiving his Masters in Library and Information Science from Dominican University, he spent 15 years working in non-profits and academic libraries in Chicago, Houston, and the United Arab Emirates. As his work became increasingly focused on developing software, he left libraries and has worked as a software developer since 2019. Cerity Partners is his first experience in financial services.
