Derrick Poon

Derrick is a Senior Associate in the North Bay office and serves as an operations and systems specialist.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Derrick was the Head Trader at Brouwer & Janachowski. He served as a member of the Portfolio Management Group, Investment Committee and Financial Operations team. He oversaw the execution of client portfolio trading and asset allocation. He was also responsible for evaluating and managing the portfolio management software, process, and systems. He worked closely with the financial advisors and all outside service providers to ensure efficient communication among all parties associated with the portfolio management process.

Prior to joining Brouwer & Janachowski, Derrick played table tennis competitively for 10 years and has won two national championships.
