Jane Simons

Jane is a Partner based in the Philadelphia office, focusing on Practice and Client Succession.

Jane joined Cerity Partners through a merger with the Cerity Partners Venture team. Prior to joining, she served as Head of Operations and member of the Executive Committee at Touchdown Ventures, a pioneer of the “venture capital as a service” model. In that role, she led key strategic operations across people, compliance, IT, cybersecurity, and general firm operations.

Jane began her career at a tech start-up as an International Project Manager, focusing on business development, operations, marketing, and communications for an innovative electric propulsion system. She then joined the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she spent 13 years in strategic operations roles spanning a wide range of higher education initiatives, including events, marketing and communications, executive board management, lifelong learning programming, and alumni relations.

Jane lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, two children, and two doodles, and is a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan.
