Renee Whittet, CPA

Renee is a Partner based in the Albany, NY office. She oversees the finance and accounting functions of the Albany practice. Renee has more than two decades of leadership experience in financial management and client service. 

Prior to Cerity Partners, Renee served as Chief Financial Officer of Graypoint. She began her career at KPMG, LLP, where she advanced to Senior Manager in the firm’s financial services audit practice. She then spent seven years at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company, ultimately serving as Vice President of Finance. In 2006, Renee joined Bender Lane Advisory, where she held both client-facing responsibilities and the role of Chief Financial Officer. In addition to her CFO duties, she played a central role in overseeing the firm’s Human Resources and Personal Accounting functions and continued to guide these areas as they were integrated and redefined during the firm’s transition into Graypoint.
