Jane Simons

Jane is a Cerity Partners Ventures Partner based in the Philadelphia office.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Jane was the Head of Operations and member of the Executive Committee at Touchdown Ventures, a pioneer of the “venture capital as a service” model. In that role she led the firm on key strategic operations, including people, compliance, it, cybersecurity and general firm operations functions.

Jane began her career working at a tech start-up as the International Project Manager, focusing on business development, operations, marketing, and communications for an innovative electric propulsion system. She then joined the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she spent 13 years in a strategic operations roles covering different initiatives of higher ed operations including events, marketing and communications, executive board management, lifelong learning programming and alumni relations. Jane speaks (or has received instruction on) 6 different languages and is an avid traveler, having visited 40+ countries. She lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband and two children, two doodles and is a passionate and enthusiastic Philadelphia Eagles fan.
