Trey Thompson, CFA

Trey is a Partner in the Austin office, where he helps manage Cerity Partners OCIO.

Before joining Cerity Partners, Trey was a Partner and President of Agility. He previously served as the Managing Director of Private Markets investments for the University of Texas Investment Management Company (“UTIMCO”) from 2002 to 2007. During his tenure at UTIMCO, Trey built a team of professionals who committed over $2.7 billion to venture capital and private equity funds globally. Prior to UTIMCO, Trey made investments for Prudential Capital Group, worked as a management consultant for A.T. Kearney, and served as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs.

In his spare time, Trey enjoys exercising, playing golf, and is happily married with two adult children.
