Pat is a Senior Principal in the Chicago office. He is responsible for new business development and client relationship management for the Retirement Plan Advisory group.
Pat has over 25 years of sales and relationship management experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Cerity Partners, he held various positions at Newport Group and Fidelity Investments.
What inspired you to pursue your career in financial management? How?
Starting around 10 or 11 years old, I would help my father (an immigrant from Italy) with his paycheck by going to the bank every week and depositing a very small amount into his savings account, and bringing the rest home in cash to pay the bills. My parents ONLY used cash for decades. They did not have a credit card or even a checking account until much later in their lives.
What should your clients know the most about you?
That I'm a 401k nerd and I'll always treat them as if they were a family member or best friend.
What do you do in your personal life that helps you help your clients?
I'm raising two completely different children that have very different needs and wants, so I must cater to their individual personalities. One size does NOT fit all. The same is true for my clients and prospects.
