Mariella Foley is a Partner in the New Jersey office, where she has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry providing personalized financial planning, tax planning and investment advisory services to high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families. Her areas of expertise include women investors, especially those experiencing a life transition due to divorce or loss of a spouse as well as retirees and multigenerational families. Mariella has also completed mediation training and Collaborative Law training
Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Mariella was a Partner and Wealth Advisor at Round Table Wealth Management, where she had been with the firm since 2000. In this role, Mariella was responsible for managing all aspects of her clients’ wealth. She has also worked in the tax departments of Big Four accounting firms as well as served as a tax specialist for a national trust company.
Mariella has a passion for helping women who are experiencing a difficult life transition and created Women of Clarity™, a program designed to invite and encourage women to become more involved in the planning of their financial future. Additionally, she has been a keynote speaker at major industry conferences such as InvestmentNews Women Adviser Summit as well as several local events.
Mariella is fluent in Spanish and is a first-degree black belt in Taekwondo. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as painting, drawing, and learning piano.
