Q & A

Q:

Was there a specific incident in your life that made it clear you were made for this career?

My first client meeting at my first job at a financial planning firm was exciting, humbling and terrifying. The client knew I had little experience, but appreciated the hard work I had put into our planning discussion.

What should your clients know the most about you?

I most enjoy learning about a client’s journey to where they are today. Each one is unique.

What differentiates Cerity Partners from other firms in our space?

The breadth of service offerings and depth of talent, coupled with a common ethos of putting clients first. Always.

What do you do in your personal life that helps you help your clients?

I am a voracious reader, which helps broaden my knowledge and better relate to my clients. Being a fan of wine and good food, both of which I enjoy sharing, does not hurt, either.

How would you describe your best day doing what you do?

My best day is spent meeting with clients to go over our ideas and recommendations to help them move forward with matters important to them.

What does the world need now more than anything?

To slow down and reduce conflict. Potable water is a close second.
