Matt McGrew , JD

Matt is a Senior Principal in the Grand Rapids office, where he works with the Wealth Management, IT, and Investment teams to create and develop the architecture of the operations platform. Along with the team, his goal is to provide a cohesive and elevated experience for advisors and clients.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Matt was the Director of Advisory Platforms, where he responsible for designing, building, and implementing investment platforms at ARGI Financial Group. He has over 18 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has provided innovative solutions in every facet of the business ranging from operations to compliance to technology integrations for broker-dealers and investment advisers. Matt’s primary goal at ARGI was to leverage relationships and technology to create opportunities and efficiencies for registered investment advisors and financial professionals. Before ARGI, he was the Chief Operations Officer, Due Diligence Officer, and In-House Counsel for USA Financial Corporation, a financial industry conglomerate consisting of three SEC-registered entities: a dually registered broker-dealer and investment adviser, an asset manager, a turnkey asset management program, and an insurance wholesaler and marketing organization.
