Biography

Dan is a Partner in the Louisville office. He is a voting member of the Cerity Partners’ Investment Committee and is a member of the Equity Leadership team that oversees all individual stock strategies for the firm. Dan’s day-to-day responsibilities include high net worth client relationship management, portfolio management, and general supervision of the Louisville Investment Team. He acts as portfolio manager for the BlackSwan options portfolio. Since November of 2018, our firm has been a sub-advisor and provided intellectual property to Amplify ETFs SWAN, ISWN & QSWN ETFs, Dan has worked as the firms point person in this relationship. In addition to his investment role, he works as a lead advisor for institutional accounts and high net worth clientele.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Dan was the Director of Investments with ARGI Financial Group. Before ARGI, he worked as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual and as a Financial Associate for Cupkovic Architecture, his father’s family business.

Dan lives in Crestwood with his wife, Sarah, and his two kids, Dawson and Josie. In his free time, he likes to coach and play basketball as well as read on eclectic topics.

  • B.S. in Finance from Ohio State University
  • Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology
