Chuck McCurdy, CFA

Chuck is a Principal in the Louisville office, where he supports investment management services for the office’s corporate and nonprofit client relationships.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Chuck served as an Institutional Portfolio Manager at ARGI Financial Group. He has spent over 30 years in the investment management business, serving as an Equity Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager with PNC Bank and Stock Yards Bank & Trust. Chuck subsequently served as Director of Research and Senior Portfolio Manager for SMC Capital and for Veredus Asset Management. He was a co-founder of Veredus, where he managed small cap and large cap growth mutual funds and separately managed accounts, as well as variable exposure long-short equity and equity market-neutral hedge funds.

In his free time, Chuck is the percussion music arranger and instructor for the Christian Academy of Louisville Marching Centurions. Along with his wife, he loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, and listening to live music.
