Michael is a Principal in our Boston office. He integrates tax and estate planning strategies into each client’s overall investment plan and customizes them to their unique situations. He has extensive experience working with corporate executives, business owners, and families with generational wealth.
Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Michael served in a similar role as a Wealth Strategy Advisor for Bainco International Investors.
What inspired you to pursue your career in financial management? How?
I have always enjoyed building relationships which is an important part of our business. Along with that, I have an analytical mind and like working with numbers. The financial management business combines these two which makes it an exciting career.
What should your clients know the most about you?
I’d like my clients to know that I am empathetic and sensitive to each of their unique circumstances. Despite success and wealth, everyone has something that they struggle with in their lives.
What kind of clients work best for you?
I enjoy working with clients that are in the midst of their careers and accumulating their wealth. They often have many important financial decisions to be made, and being part of their personal financial team is rewarding.
What do you do in your personal life that helps you help your clients?
One of my favorite hobbies is to play golf which involves patience and many small decisions that add up over time. With personal financial planning, it is important to keep things in front of you and understand the impact of each decision (big or small) you make.
