Biography

Carrie is a Principal in the Elizabethtown office, where she provides tax compliance services at all levels, including individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates. In this role, she advises clients on strategic tax-saving opportunities while maintaining a clear line of sight of clients’ financial and personal goals. After more than 15 years in the financial industry, Carrie has been at the forefront of tax and industry research, analyzing and educating both internal teams and members of her community.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Carrie served as a Tax Manager at ARGI Financial Group. She began her career in accounting working as a bookkeeper for a local contractor. Following that, she spent her first tax season at Cotton and Allen, a large accounting firm in Louisville. In 2008, she found her professional home at Stiles, Carter & Associates, which eventually merged with ARGI. Throughout her career, Carrie has been a leader within multiple company divisions including auditing, payroll and accounting, and tax.

Carrie’s personal life revolves around her husband, their three children, and her faith. She loves being active, smiling, laughing, and finding humor in the crazy antics of her children and many animals. Family activities include beachgoing, biking, game night, playing golf, rollerblading, visiting water parks, working out, debating quality music, and spending time with friends.
