Mary is a Partner in the Boston Office and a member of the firm’s Wealth Management practice. She has extensive experience working with women in transition. With over 20 years of experience in wealth management, Mary provides comprehensive investment and financial planning services with the goal of helping clients preserve and grow their wealth.
Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Mary was a Partner at Daintree Advisors, joining the firm in 2010. She was a member of Daintree’s Divorce Consulting Practice. Before joining Daintree Advisors, Mary spent 10 years as a Senior Vice President and Investment Manager at Wells Fargo Private Bank (and its predecessors Wachovia Wealth Management and Tanager Financial Services). Prior to her time with Wells Fargo, Mary was an Investment and Client Relationship Manager at Ronald Blue & Company LLC, an Investment Officer at the Bank of Boston, and a Portfolio Manager at First Chicago Corporation.
Mary earned an MBA with high distinction from the Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, an MEd in Business Education from Boston University, and a BS magna cum laude from Salem State College. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, ChFC designation, the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® certification, and the Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®) designation, which is designed for professionals serving clients who want to take a values-based approach to financial matters. Mary was named a Five Star Wealth Manager in Boston Magazine six times, most recently in 2022.
Mary and her husband David are the parents of three adult children. They enjoy skiing, tennis, and classical music. She serves on the Board of Trustees and the Finance Committee for Gordon College as well as the Board of Directors for Adolescent Consultation Services.
