Biography

Eric Corriveau is a Principal in the Los Angeles office. He is a member of the Tax and Accounting Advisory team, bringing over 18 years of public accounting experience in taxation, audit and review, forensic accounting, insolvency, and litigation support.

Eric works closely with individual and corporate clients in the multi-family and commercial real estate, professional services, manufacturing, entertainment, and production industries. He has significant experience assisting trustees, attorneys, and debtors in bankruptcy and litigation matters, including forensic accounting and insolvency analysis.

In his role, Eric provides professional consulting services, advising businesses on operations management, accounting procedures, tax planning and reporting, audit and review preparation, and resolution of IRS and government agency disputes. He has specialized experience in trust and probate accounting, preparing financial accountings for complex trusts that hold assets ranging from operating businesses and multi-family rental properties to managed investment accounts valued in the hundreds of millions. Additionally, Eric has provided certified continuing professional education for accountants and attorneys on trust and probate estate matters.

Eric’s forensic accounting and litigation support experience includes reconstructing books and records, tracing funds to identify asset recovery opportunities, fraudulent conveyance analysis, liquidation and insolvency assessments, and evidentiary accounting reports for legal proceedings.
