Steven J. Fishman, CPA

Steven J. Fishman is a Partner in the Encino office. He is a member of the Tax Advisory team, providing income, trust and estate, and charitable tax compliance and planning, as well as accounting and strategic business advisory services. Steven specializes in working with high-net-worth individuals and their closely held businesses, with a primary focus on the real estate industry, including sponsors and family office clients. His practice also extends to manufacturing, distribution, and other service businesses.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Steven spent four decades at Fishman, Block + Diamond, LLP. He began his career at Kenneth Leventhal & Company, then one of the nation’s largest accounting firms, now part of Ernst & Young’s real estate group. His experience and deep knowledge of sophisticated tax strategies have earned him recognition, including a nomination as one of Los Angeles’ top CPAs by the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2024.

In his spare time, Steven is deeply committed to community service. He has leadership and board roles at Stephen Wise Temple, AIPAC, the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, Elnet, Wise Readers to Leaders, the Impact Forum, and Birthright Israel. He is actively involved in multiple national and international organizations focused on philanthropy, education, and policy. Steven has been married to his wife, Jodie, for forty-six years, and they have three children and seven grandchildren.
