Biography

Mr. Hougard is a Principal in the Chicago office where he is responsible for providing thought leadership around asset and liability modeling and works with consultants to design and produce asset/liability studies.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Mr. Hougard served as a Senior Associate Director of Actuarial Services at Verus, a leading institutional investment advisory firm that merged with Cerity Partners in 2026. Previously, Mr. Hougard worked for WTW for six years as an actuarial consulting associate.
