Biography

Mr. McCoy is a Partner in the Seattle office where he helps manage Cerity Partners’ Institutional. Mr. McCoy chairs the alternative investments committee.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Mr. McCoy served over 12 years as President and Chief Financial Officer at Verus, a leading institutional investment advisory firm that merged with Cerity Partners in 2026. Previously, Mr. McCoy held positions at Cascade Asset Management, a private investment firm, Silver Creek Capital Management, LLC, an alternative investment firm managing fund of hedge funds, Tahoma Capital LLC, a global multi strategy hedge fund he helped launch, Quellos Group, LLC, a large financial boutique, and Arthur Andersen LLP.
