Michael Patalsky , CFA, MBA

Mr. Patalsky is a Senior Principal of the Pittsburgh office. He is a member of the Institutional Consulting team, and his 28 years of experience spans a variety of client types and asset management functions, including asset allocation/portfolio strategy development, risk management, asset-class portfolio structuring, and investment manager due diligence and selection with public and private investments. He also sits on the institutional alternative investments committee.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Mr. Patalsky served as a Managing Director at Verus, a leading institutional investment advisory firm that merged with Cerity Partners in 2026. Previously, he held various positions including Director-Investments at Willis Towers Watson, Managing Director at Wilshire Associates, and Hewitt Associates (now Aon). He also previously worked on the plan management side, managing the asset pools at PPG Industries.
