Biography

Mr. Shooshani is a Partner in the San Francisco office. Within Cerity’s institutional investment consulting practice, oversees private markets research and consulting. Additionally, he is the lead consultant on a number of client relationships, helping the firm’s endowment & foundations, healthcare, and public clients build and manage their private markets and alternatives investments.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Mr. Shooshani served as Managing Director of Private Markets at Verus, a leading institutional investment advisory firm that merged with Cerity Partners in 2026. Verus acquired Strategic Investment Solutions in 2016, where Mr. Shooshani focused on private equity. Previously, he was part of the team managing Caltech’s endowment and served as a venture catalyst.
