Biography

Mr. Hougard is a Principal in the Chicago office where he is responsible for producing asset-liability studies and providing thought leadership on asset-liability management for institutional clients.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Mr. Hougard served as a Senior Associate Director of Actuarial Services at Verus for three years, a leading institutional investment advisory firm that merged with Cerity Partners in 2026. Previously, Mr. Hougard worked for WTW for six years as an actuarial consulting associate.
