Biography

Echo Huang is a Partner and Practice Leader at Cerity Partners, advising corporate executives, entrepreneurs and families on complex wealth decisions. With more than 26 years of wealth management experience, she brings a tax-informed perspective to financial planning, with experience in tax strategies, executive compensation and stock options, retirement, investments and estate planning. Her background as a CPA helps her connect these often-separate decisions into a cohesive strategy aligned with each client’s goals.

Before joining Cerity Partners, Echo founded Echo Wealth Management in 2015 and served as President for more than 11 years. Earlier, she spent four years in public accounting with KPMG, building the tax experience that became a hallmark of her approach to wealth management. Born and raised in China, Echo came to the United States at age 20 with $800 and an American dream. Her journey from immigrant to CPA, wealth advisor, and entrepreneur shaped her belief in the possibilities that thoughtful financial decisions can create.

Outside of work, Echo embraces life with the same curiosity and energy she brings to her profession. She enjoys competitive ballroom dancing, traveling the world with her daughter, Nina, and creating meaningful connections with family and friends. Echo lives in Medina, Minnesota, with her fiancé, Erik, and their beloved dogs, Luci and Luna.
