Katie Van Rheenen

Katie is an Associate in the West Des Moines, Iowa office. She supports the team in delivering a thoughtful, reliable and positive experience for every client.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Katie served as a Financial Service Associate at Gilbert & Cook, assisting with day-to-day client needs and helping ensure requests were handled efficiently and accurately — contributing to a high level of care and service.

Katie has always known she wanted a career centered around serving others. Her interest in personal finance ultimately showed her how she could combine that passion for people with meaningful financial work. She enjoys supporting clients from all walks of life and takes pride in helping make their experience feel smooth, organized and well cared for.

Katie is a graduate of Iowa State University’s Financial Counseling and Planning program, and she is excited to continue growing her knowledge and experience while working alongside a team dedicated to helping clients make the most of their financial lives.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys reading, working on puzzles and watching sports. Most of all, she values spending time with her friends and family.
