Karin Geldfeld, MBA

Karin Geldfeld is a Principal in the San Francisco office of Cerity Partners and a member of the Institutional Consulting team. She is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and recommending private market funds, primarily in the venture capital and buyout universe, as well as in other illiquid asset classes.

Before joining Cerity Partners, Karin was a dedicated private markets specialist at Wells Fargo (Abbot Downing), where she sourced, conducted due diligence on, and presented funds to ultra-high-net-worth clients and, later, to the Wells Fargo wealth platform. She also worked directly with clients to implement private markets allocations within their broader portfolios. Prior to Wells Fargo, Karin managed the alternative investment portfolio for HP’s pension plan. Earlier, she developed partnerships at an online communications software startup, and she began her career in investment banking, followed by consulting.

In her spare time, Karin enjoys traveling and spending time with her children and her mini Aussiedoodle.
