Dawn Schneider

Dawn is a Senior Associate in the West Des Moines, Iowa office. She plays an important role in supporting the team, helping ensure that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Dawn served as Executive Assistant at Gilbert & Cook, where she worked closely with Linda Cook and other team members to coordinate schedules, manage details, and support the team’s ability to deliver thoughtful, high-quality service to clients.

Dawn is known for her organization, reliability, and steady presence behind the scenes. She takes pride in helping create structure and clarity in a fast-paced environment — allowing advisors and leadership to remain focused on what matters most: serving clients and building meaningful relationships. Her attention to detail and proactive approach make her a valuable resource to both the team and the overall client experience.

Dawn brings a diverse background in administrative and organizational roles across multiple industries. Her experience, combined with a genuine desire to help others, allows her to support the team with both efficiency and care.

Dawn and her husband, Mike, live in Waukee and have two adult sons. She is a passionate advocate and trusted resource for individuals with differing abilities and the families who support them. Drawing from her experience as a mother navigating this journey, she has authored a book and enjoys sharing her insights and inspiration through speaking engagements.
