Biography

Daniel Zabala is a U.S. Navy veteran, entrepreneur of over two decades, and a strategic finance professional holding both an MBA and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Kentucky. As a fractional CFO and strategic business adviser, Daniel has worked with more than 100 companies across over a dozen industries — including home services, construction, manufacturing, and real estate.

His hands-on approach has helped certain businesses improve liquidity, profitability, and cash flow planning; results have varied based on company-specific circumstances. He has also helped build cash flow forecasting systems that support greater clarity and visibility into their finances. Daniel understands the real challenges business owners face because he’s lived them himself.

A published author of several books, Daniel now brings his operational finance expertise to Cerity Partners, helping business owners make confident, data-driven decisions and scale sustainably.
