Brett E. Mann, CPA

Brett is a Senior Tax Manager in the Encino, California office. He is a member of the Tax and Accounting Advisory team, providing tax preparation services for clients with complex business entity structures, tax planning needs, and real estate investments. With over 20 years of experience, Brett specializes in the taxation of pass-through entities, high net-worth individuals, and represents clients in Federal and State Tax Audits.  

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Brett worked for the public accounting firms Schuman Simon and Grodecki, Ltd. (now KMA, S.C.), CohnReznick LLP, and most recently for a large single-family office.  

In his spare time, Brett enjoys playing strategic games with friends and family, film, and attending local theatre (especially his spouse’s productions). Though he works from the Encino, California office, Brett and his family reside in Chicago, Illinois, which they justify by reminding each other that harsh weather builds character.
