As an advocate, consultant and advisory board member, Brett Dearing, Partner in the New York Office, is an experienced business advisor who helps business owners implement and execute operational enhancements, growth strategies, and transition plans through mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations, private equity partnerships, strategic acquisitions, spin-out acquisitions, tuck-in strategies, and ESOPs.

Brett has implemented advisory boards and utilized EOS and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to implement business, financial, and personal planning solutions as a part of a comprehensive plan to help increase shareholder value. He has successfully guided hundreds of privately held and family-owned business owners through the four phases of a business cycle utilizing key planning strategies focused on operational enhancement, business growth and expansion, and comprehensive transition planning. Brett has added millions to business owner value and assisted business owners with transitioning over $2 billion into privately held businesses.

In previous positions, Brett provided outsourced Chief Operating Officer services for privately held businesses as the Founder of BXO and was a Senior Vice President at Goldman Sachs.

Brett’s areas of focus are Exit & Value Acceleration Planning, Transition & Succession Planning, and Merger & Acquisition Consulting Preparedness Strategy & Planning Operational Process & Procedures.
